Sites and users
Use these pages to create sites, bring people in, and tidy up accounts. For what each site role can do, see Roles and permissions.

Sites
The Sites page has a Create site form and a list of every site. Each row shows the name, its short web address (the slug), how many members it has and when it was created.
Create a site
- Type a Name. The Slug fills in for you, and you can change it.
- Tap Create.
A slug can only use lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens, and each one must be unique. You are added to the new site as its owner. Site settings are then set up from the site itself. See Site settings.
Rename a site. Click its name in the list, type the new name and press Enter. Escape cancels.
Delete a site. The Delete button asks you to confirm, then archives the site. The site is hidden but not erased, and the confirmation says it can be restored later. There is no way to bring an archived site back from the app. Ask a developer.
The arrow at the start of each row opens the site in a new tab.

The user list
Users lists everyone with an account: name, email, how many sites they belong to, platform role, last login and whether they are Active or Disabled. Search by name or email. Disabled accounts are shown faded.
Pending Invitations appears above the list when someone has been invited who hasn't signed up yet.
Inviting someone
- Tap + Invite User.
- Enter the Email.
- Pick the Role on assigned sites: Member or Admin.
- Tick one or more sites under Assign to sites. You need at least one.
- Tap Send Invite.
If the email already has an account, they are added to those sites straight away, and any site they're already in is skipped. If not, an invitation email is sent, and they get access to the sites when they register. For any other role, change it afterwards on their page.
A person's page
Click a name to open their page. It shows when they joined and last logged in.
- Global role: User, Support (read-only) or Global admin.
- Account Status: Disable Account logs the person out of every device immediately and stops them signing in. Enable Account turns it back on.
- Site Memberships: change their role at a site from the list, remove them with the ✕, or add them to another site from the dropdown at the top. A site added this way starts them as a Member, and you can change the role afterwards.
You can't change your own global role or disable yourself on this page. You also can't remove the only owner of a site.
Merging duplicate accounts
People sometimes end up with two accounts, for example one for each way of signing in. Merging folds a duplicate into the account you keep.
On the account you want to keep, use Merge another account…, search for the duplicate by name or email, and pick it. Tick Include disabled accounts if the duplicate is disabled. A preview shows exactly what will happen before anything changes. Review it, then tap Confirm merge. You can't merge an account into itself, and you can't merge your own account as the duplicate.
What moves to the account you keep
- Sign-in methods. The duplicate's login methods are added to the kept account. If both accounts already have the same login method, the merge is blocked and the preview says which one.
- Site memberships. Sites the kept account isn't in are added with the same role. Where both accounts belong to a site, the kept account takes the higher of the two roles.
- Platform role. If the duplicate has a higher platform role, such as Global admin, the kept account is raised to match. The preview warns you.
- Records of who did what. Activity log entries, barcode mappings, stock added or removed, and product images the duplicate created are re-attributed to the kept account.
What doesn't
- The duplicate's name, email, profile picture and display preferences. The kept account's details stay as they are.
- The duplicate's alerts and its alert preferences. They are deleted along with the account.
- Some other records lose their link to a person rather than moving: who started or applied an inventory audit, audit counts, visit product requests, quarterly report recipient links, and who reported or resolved a scan report. They stay in place and read as unattributed.
- Active sessions. The duplicate is signed out everywhere.
The merge is recorded in the Audit Log.
