Getting started
Road2IR Inventory helps interventional radiology (IR) programs keep track of their supplies. You record the devices on your shelves, the cases that use them, and the visits from vendor reps, and the app keeps stock levels, expiry dates and recalls in view.
Everything lives in a site, which is usually one IR program or one storeroom. People are invited to a site and given a role that decides what they can see and do.
Pick the path that fits you.
I've been invited
- Open the invitation email and use the address it was sent to. Sign-up only works for invited addresses. See Accounts and sites.
- Create your account with a password, or sign in with Google if your sign-in page offers it.
- Choose your site if you belong to more than one. You land on the page that suits your role.
- Read what your role allows in Roles and permissions, so you know why some pages or buttons are missing.
- On your phone, add the app to your home screen. See Install and work offline.
- Keep the Glossary handy for terms such as REF, LOT and FEFO.
I'm setting up a site
- A global admin creates the site. Whoever creates it becomes its owner. See Accounts and sites.
- The owner invites the team under Settings › App users and picks a role for each person. See Roles and permissions and Staff and app users.
- Add the clinicians who appear on cases under Settings › Staff. They don't need a login. See Staff and app users.
- Set up your catalog under Settings: products (you can import them from a spreadsheet) and procedures.
- If you want to scan barcodes, turn scanning on under Settings › Scanning. It is off until someone enables it. See Scanning settings and Scanning.
- Start adding stock. See Inventory. Show your team how to install the app, using Install and work offline.
The rest of these docs cover inventory, scanning, cases, visits, audits, stats and each settings page in detail. Use the menu to move between sections.
